Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The shareholders of Abu Dhabi Aviation have elected a new board of directors for a new term until 2029, during the annual general meeting on 12 March 2026.

The board, subsequently convened on 17 March, appointed Mansour Al Mulla as the new Chairman of the group, according to a press release.

Mohammad Sharafi was also appointed as the Vice Chairman.

Furthermore, the new board of directors includes the following non-executive members:

- Buthaina Almazrouei

- Evgeny Gluchkov

- Ismail Abdulla

- Jawad Shafique

- Mohamed Khalil Foulathi

- Roque Solabarrieta

- Tansel Kilicarslan

Chairman of Abu Dhabi Aviation Group, Mansour Al Mulla, said: “As a serving member of the board, I have a strong understanding of the group’s strategic direction and the solid platform it has built.”

Al Mulla noted: “As the Company continues to strengthen its position as an integrated aviation services group, the board will work closely with the group’s executive management to support the execution of its strategic priorities and guide its long-term development.”

For his part, Mahmood Al Hameli, Group CEO, said: “Abu Dhabi Aviation is entering an important phase of strategic growth and transformation as we evolve from a national champion into a regional pioneer and increasingly a global player.”

Al Hameli elaborated: “Our focus is on accelerating organic growth, driving productivity across our operations, embedding advanced technologies and AI into how we work, and unlocking greater synergies across the group to build a more resilient and competitive platform.”

It is worth noting that the aviation group entered into an agreement with the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) earlier in 2026 to enhance the implementation of practical aircraft maintenance experience programs.
